to have or not to have?
i thot i really wanna have kind of celebration since this year is different and one only experiences their 21st once in a lifetime. but now i guess maybe i'll need to put off that idea? my parents are quite okay with me having a 21st bdae party but well they have their budget too since my sister is getting married in sept and they are expecting to spend quite a lot on that. so yeap. i was told that if i can find some place and catering blar blar within their budget they will agree to have it.
results? hmm the only one that i have been to before and thot it is not bad to hold it there is also not possible now cos of full booking of that place. sigh. i shud have check out the bookings way back in early august. have thot of holding a 21st bdae but i din have the time to check out the venue, cost and info due to orientation, rag and schoolwork, and well of many miscellaneous stuff too. and now, just a 3weeks away from the actual day, den i am looking for possible venues. isnt it a bit too late u may ask. and yes i know! kinda too late. SIGH.
checked out other beautiful places, and yes the cost is beautiful too. someone suggested to me of hlding at those function rooms that are common if u stay in condos but well i thot it will be weird to have your bdae party and someone else's condo rite? well others mite not think so but at least i do! any ohter suggestions?? i think this goes to show how bad my planning is.. or rather it's my time management. sigh sigh sigh.
maybe yea just like wat my mum says.. "go out with family and eat something good lor!" well, that's what that matters most rite? to have a proper family dinner which we haven been doin it for quite some time. :( but yea everyone wans something special for their 21st, and i am not excluded i guess. maybe cos a lot of my frens also done that, hence made me wanna do it as well. oh wells.
all i wanted to is to have something different and of cos a memorable one too. of cos throwing a bdae party is not the only thing that gurantees that. but at least it acts as an excuse of having all my close frens and my loved ones to gather together and celebrate this special day for me. that would be such a luxury. :)
The past week had been busy.. but fun too!! well, had Temasek Hall Dinner and Dance Bash held at Zouk last wed. i thot it was a success with the entertaining games and prizes and everything ran smooth. Good job DND Comm 0708! :) here are some snapshots...

and BBC went partying at MOS last nite.. haven been catching up with one another for long, i miss them! and yes i met Hwa San there too, he was there to celebrate his best fren's 21st. such a coincidence!
and seriously i think i am on a falling sick streak.. haven really recover since orientation starts. and i am still having fever, sore throat, cough and flu. argh. yes i am very sian, as u can see from the pic below.

today marks the first day of school but well.. i am not in the mood for school at all lar.. first day and my lecture is at 6PM. yes.. 6PM in the evening!! this sem is filled with all cores, and i haven even got the last two cores that i wanna take.. yes i know this sucks and it is seriously disgusting. i hope they will allow my appeal to get thru. *cross fingers*
anyway.. i am having this very weird feeling right now. it is not a good feeling for sure. dun really know how to describe but it's like i am in a confused state, dun really know wat i wan exactly. i am just doin things in the heat of the moment. maybe i know wat i wan, but dunno how to go about doin it and it just sucks. cos it's really something like being caught in the middle of situations and feeling lost. argh. how?? sigh. i really have to quit being so impulsive and doing things passively. but some things done are done, no pt crying over spilled milk and you cant turn back time. nor can u freeze the time. yea, time is precious. on the other hand, i believe that time is so precious, and you never know wat will happen next.. since so, everyone shud just grab every chance and opportunities and do things that you always have wanted to do, follow your heart and not think so much. well.. so contradicting right? to do or not to do? weigh the consequences den.
